Hampton Roads Magazine has named Lucky Oyster a Platinum Plate Award Winner!
Lucky Oyster Seafood Grill is a silver award winner in Hampton Roads Magazine's 2009 Platinum Plate Awards which recognizes the area's top restaurants. Thirteen area food critics including Chef Patrick Evans-Hylton secretly visited Lucky twice throughout the past few months and found our staff, food, and atmosphere worthy of one of the most sought after awards offered in the food service industry. An event benefiting WHRO and honoring the 2009 Platinum Plate Awards recipients was held on Sunday, February 28 from 4-7 at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott. A great time was had by all and we thank all of you who came out to support us!
Taste of Hampton Roads
Lucky Oyster Seafood Grill attended the Taste of Hampton Roads at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott on Tuesday, March 2. The decorations were amazing and our Old Bay Wings were a hit! Hope to see you all there next year!

Beginning March 14, the Virginia Pilot will begin the annual Best of the Beach contest and will accept votes through March 31. Lucky will be GOING FOR GOLD in the following 5 categories:

Best Family/Casual Dining

Best Restaurant for Lunch

Hotcakes Band Comes to Lucky
Twice a Month!
The area's most popular band comes to Lucky twice a month! The band will play in the dining room beginning at 9:30PM. Take a look at our photos page to see HOTCAKES in action. We'll be pulling the tables again to make room for a dance floor twice a month so come on out and join the fun! Below is a list of upcoming Hotcakes dates at Lucky! Note that beginning in June HOTCAKES moves to Thursday nights!
